Frequently Asked Questions
As iPhone developers we didn't like the way reports are displayed in iTunes Connect. We wanted to see totals, amounts, and more than the past seven days. So we created appFigures and opened it to all other iPhone developers to enjoy.

appFigures is a utility application by Fileitup Media that lets iPhone application developers view their downloads, updates, and profits using interactive charts and browsable data that's easy to view and understand.
appFigures imports reads the text-file reports that Apple provides developers through iTunes Connet and transforms them into structured data. Reports can be uploaded manually, by syncing with iTunes Connect, or automatically on a daily schedule using Auto Import.
appFigures can import daily and weekly reports download reports from iTunes Connect. Files can be imported automatically, by syncing with iTunes Connect on-demand, or by uploading them from your computer.
Yes. We take security seriously and take multiple measure to make sure it is protected. We encrypt all private information and protect all of your data on our own secure servers. We restrict access to your information so no one other than you can view your reports, not even us.
Apple provides two different sets of reports, weekly and daily. Data in both types of reports should be identical however may not since they are both separate.

appFigures shows both sets so you have the same information available through iTunes Connect.
Weekly data is kept separately. To view it, click the weekly button that's to the right of the report tabs.
appFigures calculates profits from the daily/weekly reports provided by Apple. Apple states that these reports should not be used for financial purposes and so we forward their message on to you.

Another possibility is that when converting from the various currencies into your currency some numbers were rounded up/down and may have created the inaccuracy. In any case - trust Apple's financial reports only, they are the ones paying up...
While weekly and daily figures should be the same they may not. Due to the way weekly reports are stored, select a Monday as your starting date and end with a Sunday. This should covers full weeks and give you a better comparison with daily data.
Please contact us and give us as much info about the issue, how it happened, and any other information you think will be helpful for us when we attempt to solve the issue.
We don't play when it comes to security - we use advanced encryption to store your iTunes username and password. We use these credentials when Auto Importing, or when syncing with iTunes Connect.
Several things may have occurred:
1. Your iTunes Connect credentials are invalid and login fails. Check this by syncing with iTunes Connect on-demand and see the results.
2. Auto Import ran before new reports were made available on iTunes Connect. You may sync on-demand or wait until the next Auto Import cycle.
3. There has been some other error on iTunes Connect. You may sync on-demand or wait until the next Auto Import cycle.
Short answer - Yes. Long answer - Auto Import runs over secure SSL and connects directly to the part of iTunes Connect that provides report downloading. The data is then imported and saved securely.
appFigures extracts icons from 6 major app stores. If your app is not available in those stores appFigures will not be able to display its icon.
You dont need to. Apps are added automatically when they are detected in imported reports.
Go into the Apps Management page, check the boxes next to the app or apps you want to refresh, and then select 'Update icon' from the Actions menu. appFigures will ping iTunes and grab the new icon instantly.
